Jeff Geerts began his employment with the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) in August 2007. His current title is the Special Projects Manager for the Community Development Division located in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to joining IDED, Mr. Geerts served 15 years with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, working on waste reduction and recycling projects. Mr. Geerts holds a BS from St. Ambrose and an MA in public administration from Drake University.
