Tennessen Honored in Iowa Research's 'Dare to Dream' Series

Nicole (Nikki) Tennessen, a PhD student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program, was recently featured in Iowa Research's 'Dare to Dream' series. Tennessen is the student of PPC senior research fellow, Nicholas Bowman, in the Social and Education Policy Research Program. A former first-generation undergraduate of Cornell College, Tennessen studies how college financial aid packages support low-income students, LGBTQ+ students, and housing-insecure students. She aspires to become a faculty member teaching courses on "methods and institutional research" in the future. Read more about Tennessen and her work here.
