ISRC Grants Team Helps Magsamen-Conrad Garner NIH Award

The Iowa Social Science Research Center (ISRC) grants team assisted Kate Magsamen-Conrad, associate professor of Communication Studies, in securing a National Institute of Health subaward worth $202,332 as part of a funded project called Free Time 4 Wellness (FT4W). The project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the FT4W program as a method of increasing physical activity and associated chronic diseases among mothers living in low-resourced communities.
