Mitchell Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from American Political Science Association

Sara Mitchell, senior research fellow in the Politics and Policy Research Program, was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Conflict Processes section of the American Political Science Association. This award is given every other year in recognition of scholarly contributions that have “fundamentally improved the study of conflict processes.” Professor Mitchell was specifically cited for her commitment to mentorship, service, and outstanding research.
