McGehee Co-Engineers Regenerative Braking System

Body

Dan McGehee, Program Director and Senior Research Fellow of Transportation & Vehicle Safety Policy Program, has co-engineered a new dynamic regenerative braking system (DRB) that will help prevent car crashes. This system targets the importance of transferring from acceleration to breaking while driving. The DRB consists of two modes, one that modulates acceleration and another that controls the break pedal. More details and information about the innovation can be found here.
