Rich Publishes Policy Brief on Increasing Cybersecurity

The Summer Policy Research Institute offers the opportunity for students on Track 2 to author and publish a policy memo or brief. Samuel Rich, fourth-year undergraduate student studying political science with a minor in history, published a policy brief on the need to enhance cybersecurity in America to protect federal and civilian data.

The brief details examples of data hacks in the U.S., how blockchain technology functions, and a policy recommendation for how blockchain could be effective in defending against future cyberattacks. Read the full policy brief here.
